What a day and what an achievement! On Sunday 18th August, 80 staff members from Western Brand, their families and friends from Clones, Emyvale, Killylough and Clogher Valley Cycling Clubs donned their Lycra and hopped on their bikes to raise money for the Aisling Centre.
To say we’re proud of Aoife Flanagan and Naomi McManus at Western Brand would be understating it… we’re delighted, excited and very, very proud of our own championship footballers!
Doreen Wheeler’s smile says it all – no more disposable cups clogging up the environment. Last year alone we threw away 15,000 of these pesky little items, but from now on we’ll be able to enjoy our daily brew in chic, new Western-branded reusable mugs. And apart from the fact that as always we like to do are bit and be kind to the environment, the consensus is that our tea and coffee taste even better from our fancy cups!
Most of us put our feet up for a few days at Christmas and enjoy time with friends and loved ones. But for many people Christmas can evoke feelings of sadness and grief, as they remember someone dear who is no longer with them.
They say there’s no gain without some pain. Well there were certainly some sore, tired legs after the Western Brand’s charity fun cycle on Sunday 11th October. But the good news is that there was also a very substantial gain - £730 to be exact, all of which was raised for and donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
It’s one of the nation’s favourite aromas – the homely, flavoursome smell of roast chicken with all the trimmings. And on the new corporate web site from Western Brand Group, roast chicken never looked or tasted so good.
